Magic is in the Air

It's a beautiful day today, isn't it?

It was a bright afternoon in the middle of August. The sun looked up from white clouds and warmed the landscape which swept past by. Birds, both large and small, either flew from tree to tree or continued to flutter their wings against the clear, blue sky.

Yes, it is indeed a beautiful day... A perfect start to begin a new life.

Naruto Uzumaki, a thirteen year old blonde with azure eyes like the sky, gazed out from the window. He never could've guessed that just looking at crystal-like water and green forests would fill his mind with excitement. From where he grew up, a dull suburb to London, he never saw any of these things. The only birds he saw from there was sparrows, the only water he saw came from the sky or the tap, and the feelings he felt wasn't the same either. Naruto couldn't stop himself from showing a wide smile across his mouth.
“You sure seem happy.”, a gentle voice called in the seat in front of the blonde.
“Why shouldn't I?”, he laughed and turned his glance towards Jiraya – a white-haired man around his fifties.
“This is my first time leaving my hometown. I didn't even know the grass could be this green.”
“This, my friend, is the outside world.”, Jiraya replied, also with a huge grin on his face. The old man was right. Naruto'd spend his whole lifetime in a gray and dreary town – without a family. The mistress who held in charge of the orphanage Naruto lived in always told him that his parents left him outside the outer door on a rainy day, just like those novels about orphans as the leading character. Of course Naruto believed in her words and kept going through his so-called life, seeing himself as an unwanted child – like a black paint spot on a new white dress. But when a certain old man knocked on the wooden doors to the orphanage, on June 12th a few minutes after midnight, and revealed the truth about Naruto's past. From that special moment his new life started to take place. And now, as he leaned back, a black and red train took him closer to it.

Ha-ha!
